Training Workshop on Introduction to Statistical Analysis in "R" for Forest Resource Management

On September 12 and 13, 2016, the "Training Workshop on Introduction to Statistical Analysis in "R" for Forest Resource Management" was held at MoU signing research Institute of Forest and Wildlife Research and Development in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. This workshop was co-sponsored and organized by Risk Analysis Research Center, ISM, and Institute of Forest and Wildlife Research and Development, Cambodia. This training workshop had been held annually since 2010 and was aimed at developing human resources involved in the implementation of forest resources management in Cambodia. Two levels of courses, for beginners and for more experienced users, were offered, and this year`s workshop was targeted at beginners of the R software.

On the first day, the participants leaned about data handling in R. All participants used their own computers to conduct data handling in R. On the second day, after reviewing the materials covered during the first day, the participants learned about graphics in R and a simple regression modeling. The workshop ended successfully with the completion ceremony, where each participant received a certificate of completion.
