AgFReM
NOE Project

Joint Projects Information

We conduct joint research projects with AgFReM member institutes and colleges. We integrate data collection infrastructures and data archiving systems developed by researchers of AgFReM member institutes/colleges, using the latest statistical and mathematical analytical techniques developed and utilized by researchers at ISM and other related institutes. We develop prototypes for natural resource management optimization system through these joint projects with the aim of conducting policy analysis for natural resource use and land use in AgFReM member countries. Our joint projects include: “Evaluating the impact of ecotourism on local communities, and the management of local mountain resources and environment” with researchers in Nepal; “Developing agriculture/forest resource database and exploring the optimal resource use management by dynamic monitoring and assessment” with researchers in Cambodia and Laos; and “Exploring the optimal management of freshwater bodies for ecosystem services” with researchers in Indonesia.
