2016 Internship Seminar at ISM

Internship workshop for joint research projects in Asian countries was held at ISM on March 14 and 15, 2016. Collaborative researchers were gathered from Asian nations as well as Canada and Portugal: Dr. Sokh Heng and Mr. Nup Sothea from Inst. For. Wildl. R&D, Cambodia , Dr. Nguyen Dinh Hung from Forest Invent. Plan. Inst., Vietnam, Dr. Khanal B.B. Chhetri and Mr. Shreekanta Khatiwada from Institute of Forestry Nepal, Dr. Sithong Thongmanivong and Mr. Daovorn Thongphanh from National Univ. of Laos, Laos, Dr. Patrick Asante from BC Government, Canada, and Dr. Nuno Ribeiro from Univ. of Evora, Portugal. Reports on current ongoing research projects in Cambodia, Vietnam and Laos were presented. Nepalese case study was also presented as well as Portuguese and Canadian ones.
