Statistical Analysis with R Software for Forestry Research in SNU

A workshop on "Statistical Analysis with R Software for Forestry Research in SNU” was held at Seoul National University, on 11th November, 2024. This workshop was co-sponsored and organized by Risk Analysis Research Center, ISM, and the College of Agriculture and Life Science, Seoul National University, Republic of Korea. The workshop was designed to enable participants to use the statistical software "R" and to apply a hands-on approach to various statistical analyses. All participants had prior experience with R, either having used it before or currently using it. In the morning, we quickly reviewed and covered topics from data handling to creating graphics. In the afternoon, we progressed to linear and nonlinear regression analysis, deepening our understanding of growth curves. Each participant was enthusiastic about the workshop and expressed interest in attending future sessions. The workshop concluded successfully with a total of 13 participants. It was run mainly by the College of Agriculture and Life Science, Seoul National University under Dr. Hee Han.
