On September 3 and 4, 2019, the "Training on Statistical Analysis in "R" for Forest Resource Management: Level 4" was held at MoU signing research Institute of Forest and Wildlife Research and Development in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. This workshop was co-sponsored and organized by Risk Analysis Research Center, ISM, and Institute of Forest and Wildlife Research and Development, Cambodia. Before the workshop started, the participants had the opportunity to discuss the materials and exchange, as well as share their solutions to the proficiency tests.
This workshop focused on linear and non-linear regression model based on growth function, and model selection. Some participants were interested in the theoretical background of regression models, and many of them were looking forward to attending a workshop covering more advanced topics in the future. The workshop ended successfully with a total of 30 participants. The workshop was run mainly by the Institute of Forest and Wildlife Research and Development Forestry Administration, Acting Director of Cambodia, Dr. Sokh Heng, and Ms. Lim Sopheap.
