Training Workshop on Statistical Analysis in "R" for Forest Resource Management: Level 3

On February 15 to 16, 2017, the "Training Workshop on Statistical Analysis in "R" for Forest Resource Management: Level 3" was held at MoU signing research Institute of Forest and Wildlife Research and Development in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. This workshop was co-sponsored and organized by Risk Analysis Research Center, ISM, and Institute of Forest and Wildlife Research and Development, Cambodia. The workshop was the second one of the year and it was targeted exclusively at more experienced R users. Most of the participants had been using R for their study since they joined our previous workshop. Lectures on theoretical backgrounds of more advanced topics such as time series and growth analyses were also given to the participants in response to requests from the participants. Analytical techniques of their interest varied among the participants, therefore, the participants would like to have workshops covering various advanced topics in the future. The workshop ended successfully with a total of 30 participants. The workshop was run mainly by the Institute of Forest and Wildlife Research and Development Forestry Administration, Acting Director of Cambodia, Dr. Sokh Heng, and Ms. Lim Sopheap.
